• 1959 The Hotel's north-wing is extended.
• 1962 A south-wing is added.
• 1965 A part of ASTORIA falls victim to flames.
• 1970 - 1971 The third floor becomes shabby and so is renovated along with the fourth floor.
• 1973 A large swimming pool with wonderful views of the beautiful hotel garden is built.
• 1986 The hotel driveway is made more prestigious.
• 1996 ASTORIA is given a general make-over and extended:
  • The Vitality Centre is completed with a large conservatory, sauna and steam room.
  • The brilliantly equipped cure department is extended with its own cosmetic department.
  • Three cosy restaurants, a "Jagdstüberl" and the Amadeus Bar round off the picture perfectly.
• 1997 The hotel is extended with a east-wing with an additional 20 rooms and a spacious 5000 m² park for the guests.
• 2009 ASTORIA is completely renovated and modernised.
