A new Highlight in Gasteinertal

The new Stubnerkogel cable-car is a real eye-catcher - the buildings, designed by the architects "Innerhofer oder Innerhofer" are bright orange and futuristic. The valley station is now also ablaze with light at night and fascinates with its changing light show.

High Altitude Adrenalin on the Stubnerkogel

Do you have a head for heights? Then discover the new attraction on the Stubnerkogel Mountain! A 140 m long suspension bridge joins the mountain station with the ORF transmitter at a height of nearly 2300 m. The bridge's light grid construction enables a spectacular view into the depths.. an indescribable feeling!

From the 08/12/2009 you can float up the Stubnerkogel on the modern cable-car and enjoy the views of the Gasteinertal and its new architectural gems.
To celebrate the day of the opening are:

Free test ride on the new cable-car for every visitor
Children's activities in the Fun Center at the mountain station
Live Music in the peak restaurant
For the Après Ski celebrations: Open Air Concert with the band 'Die Seer' at the valley station
Large firework display
