For Guests at Hotel Astoria – Important to know

Breakfast / Evening Meal

All prices given include half-board. If you decide not to take the evening meal we ask you to let us know in good time. (Reimbursement of €10 per person, per day)

Arrival / Departure

On arrival your room will be ready from 15:00. On departure please vacate your room by 11:00. Should you require to arrive earlier or depart later we will happily offer you the use of our Astoria Vitality Centre.

Rooms

All rooms are equipped with bathrobes, slippers, towels, hairdryer, balcony, safe as well as some with vanity mirror. Price differences only arise as a result of variation in size, location and decoration of the room, all other services are the same!
We offer the opportunity for you to book the room category but unfortunately we are able to book certain room numbers or rooms on a particular floor.

Non-Smoker – Smoker?

For your wellbeing and health our dining rooms are non-smoking areas. The rooms are also non-smoking so we kindly ask you to only smoke on the balcony or at the hotel bar.

Dress

In the interest of other guests and to create a pleasant holiday atmosphere, we kindly ask you that you don't appear at meals wearing bathrobe or training attire.

Families

If you would like to visit us with your children then you can book one of our spacious family rooms or 2 double rooms with connecting door. Please ask us about our family offers, eg. children up to 12 stay with half-board in their parent's room for free!
Please note that an additional bed in the single room and classic double room is not possible.

Third or Fourth Person

In a few of our rooms there is enough room for a third or fourth additional bed. We give a 20% discount on these beds.

Packages

We would like to point out that services included in package offers which are not taken advantage of will not be refunded.

Dogs

Your dear four-legged friend is very welcome when you let us know in advance. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant or wellness area. Please bring your own dog baskets and blankets with you. Per day we charge €8 (without food). We reserve the right to charge for any necessary cleaning at the end of your stay.

Internet

As an Alpine SPA Hotel it is important to us that the positive energy flow of your body is not disturbed. Therefore we only have a general Internet connection in the public area which you can use at any time at no extra charge.

Mobile Telephones

For the purpose of creating the perfect holiday atmosphere and out of consideration for guests, we kindly ask that you do NOT use your mobile telephone in the public areas.

Deposit

For a fixed reservation of your room we ask for a deposit of €200 per adult to be paid into our account:

Cancellations

Cancellations are made in accordance with the Austrian Hotel Association terms and conditions. For cancellations made later than 14 days before arrival we will charge 80% of the total price. For early departure we will charge the room price for the remaining nights.

Means of Payment

We will happily accept payments in cash, EC cards, MasterCard, Visa as well as American Express.

Car Park

Behind the hotel is the hotel's own secure car park for your car. We ask for your understanding that we cannot reserve fixed places.

Hotel Shuttle

Our hotel has a hotel shuttle bus. We will happily pick you up from Bad Hofgastein station to bring you to Hotel Astoria at no extra charge. We will also be happy to organise airport transfers for you (nearest airports are Salzburg and Munich). We will also be happy to help with transfers to Gastein Heilstollen and on excursions. Just ask us!
